The INMR database is a private initiative developed for, and maintained by, indigenous members of the Irish Motor Industry.
Its primary objective is to identify potential discrepancies with a vehicle's odometer reading and protect participating retailers from inadvertently misleading a consumer regarding a vehicle's usage.
Registration is free of charge and can be completed online by clicking the link named 'Signup' above. Once registered, you will be invited to make a contribution to the database as well as being granted access to search the database free of charge.
Each search is conducted by the vehicle's registration number with results displayed on-screen in date order. Where a potential conflict exists (i.e. Two records for the same vehicle demonstrating a linear decrease on the vehicle's odometer) the offending records will be highlighted in red drawing the users attention to the possibility that the vehicle under query may have been clocked.
